SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union — The Solid Duterte Supporters Group (SDSG) or “D’ Originals Nationwide,” has recently inaugurated its 3,000-member strong La Union chapter here, led by Dominador Maglaya, a prominent local leader, as provincial chairman.
The new chapter officers and members, wearing their signature red shirts, were hosted and inducted by La Union Gov. Francisco Emmanuel “Pacoy” R. Ortega III at the provincial capitol here.
Games and Amusement Board (GAB) Commissioner Mar Masanguid, SDSG founder and president, said the support of Gov. Ortega, who sits as the chapter’s honorary chair, has assured a big following for SDSG in La Union, owing to the governor’s good governance leadership. SDSG strongly supports President Duterte’s goal of sound governance.
Also present during the event, aside from Masanguid, were SDSG National Vice President for Operations Greg Conde, La Union Provincial Administrator Manuel Victor “Mannix” R. Ortega, and other SDSG national officials.
SDSG now boast of more than 15,000 strong members in the country. Aside from the La Union chapter, it has also recently installed its Cordillera Autonomous Region and Nueva Ecija chapters, in addition to the pioneering chapters in Marikina, Mandaluyong, Valenzuela, Bacoor in Cavite, Visayas and in Mindanao with Cagayan de Oro as its biggest chapter.
Masanguid said SDSG’s next target will be new chapters in Metro Manila, Southern Tagalog and the Bicol Region.
